This ultrafast chain has been optimised for SRAM AXS Road 12-speed compatibility, to boost the efficiency of your entire drivetrain.
CeramicSpeed UFO Racing Chains can save you between 2-5 watts on a distance of 650 km/400 miles. Apply CeramicSpeed UFO Drip after 650km to maintain your peak chain optimization over the life of the chain.
Be aware that the UFO treatment is not optimised for wet and muddy conditions, which might cause corrosion on the chain. Read more about this in the maintenance tab.

Technical Data
CeramicSpeed uses chains from high-end brands to which an optimisation treatment is applied. The CeramicSpeed UFO Chains go through a multi-step process, which involves polishing, cleaning, and application of two layers of treatment to achieve the most efficient chain possible. The UltraFast Optimization process is not highly technical, but it is very time consuming.
The wax blend used in the optimisation of the ultra-fast chains was discovered through intensive testing in order to find the fastest base. Thereafter, the base was tweaked to achieve the lowest friction levels on the test equipment. After additional testing and multiple ratios of additives-to-base, the most efficient formula of optimisation was identified. CeramicSpeed started from the initial formula of the UltraFast Optimization process and incorporated a couple of advancements on top of the traditional treatment, for improved results.
The CeramicSpeed UFO Chain is a racing chain, developed with the purpose of delivering the unrivalled performance and will perform optimal for about 650 km/400 miles or potentially more under clean and dry conditions. After this, the watts saved start to decrease nevertheless, your used chain will still feature traces of optimisation and perform better than a regular chain. The maintenance and oiling of the used chain will prolong the life of your chain, saving less watts than optimised, still being above the level of a new standard chain. CeramicSpeed recommends the use of UFO Drip Chain Coating for the maintenance interventions.
The Optimisation Process
The optimisation of a CeramicSpeed UFO chain is a multi-step process starting with a polishing method of the link's sliding surfaces that removes friction-producing surface like roughness and manufacturing imperfections. The chain is followed by a cleaning routine to fully remove the inefficient factory lube and friction-producing contaminants introduced during the manufacturing process. The next steps require the infusion of the chain at optimal temperatures with the optimisation blend. The entire process allows the sliding surfaces of an ultra-fast CeramicSpeed UFO Chain to have distinct lubricating layers working together as a system for the ultimate chain efficiency available.
Installation of CeramicSpeed UFO Chain
Mounting your new optimised chain is no different from the installation of any other chain.
Always connect the chain with the connecting link provided. We do not recommend reusing the connecting link. To install your chain, a chain tool is required. Shorten the chain at optimal length.
When cutting the chain with the chain tool, remember that the cut needs to be made so that the chain-ends are both inner plates. Attach the two pieces of the connecting link where the link rivet matches the link plate hole, then pull the chain to activate the lock.
Maintenance of UFO Factory Optimized SRAM AXS Road 12S Chain
Within 650 km/400 miles, to benefit from the full advantages of the CeramicSpeed UFO Racing Chain, you must not wash the chain before the mileage is exceeded. However, if your chain needs cleaning, use a dry cloth or a soft brush and carefully remove the dirt off the chain. When taking the chain off for maintenance or cleaning, remember to reinstall it in the same direction as before. In the case of a mild shower, where the chain has not been exposed to water more than a few minutes, the chain performance properties should not be affected.
In the case of light showers, we recommend applying UFO Drip Chain Coating. Allow the UFO Drip Chain Coating to dry off before riding.
In the case of heavy showers, you should cover your chain in a protective grease on top of the UFO treatment. This will slightly influence the watt savings, but it will protect the chain while still improving your performance.
After 650 km/400 miles the chain may undergo maintenance, keeping in mind that traces of the optimisation are still left on the chain. When using UFO Drip Chain Coating, after the 650 km/400 miles, please follow the instructions on the bottle. Note that the huge watts saving of 2-5 watts is achieved within the first 650 km/400 miles interval and decrease slightly after the UFO treatment wears off.

At Eminence Cycle Co., we are committed to providing fast and reliable shipping for all our products. All orders are shipped from the United Kingdom and are subject to the following shipping policies.
Processing & Dispatch Times
• Components, Accessories & Framesets: Dispatched within 5 working days.
• Complete Bikes (Pre-Owned & New): Dispatch may take up to 14 working days to ensure proper assembly and quality checks.
International Shipping & Customs
• Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, which vary by country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
• Eminence Cycle Co. will not be liable for delays or returns due to customs clearance.
• If an item is returned due to customs refusal, a reshipping fee will be applied and sent to the customer prior to resending the item.
Damaged Shipments & Claims
• If a package arrives damaged, it must be reported immediately in writing to jmcyclesltd@gmail.com upon receipt with clear photos and a damage report to initiate a claim.
• Eminence Cycle Co. reserves the right to refuse claims if damages are not reported immediately upon receipt.

Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like special orders—including custom-built bicycles, non-stock components, and any items specifically ordered at a customer’s request—are non-refundable and non-returnable unless deemed faulty or defective upon arrival.
By placing a special order, you acknowledge and agree that:
• No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted once the order has been confirmed and processed.
• Special order items are procured specifically for you and cannot be resold as standard inventory.
• If a special order item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us immediately, providing clear photographic evidence. We will work with the manufacturer to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair or replacement at our discretion.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer law.

We do not accept returns for Pre Owned Bicycles and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
